Mirror, Mirror on the Wall, Who Is Thriftiest of All

A mirror is by far one of my favorite home decor items to buy at the Thrifty Shopper. I love decorating with mirrors because they reflect some of the most unexpected natural light. The reflection of an exquisite sunrise when trying to come alive at the crack of dawn is most welcoming.

When looking for a new mirror, I add it to my Wunderlist app line called ‘Thrift Wish List’. It’s so satisfying not only finding a wish-list item, but also hearing it being checked off your list.

I spotted this mirror for $7.99 at the Binghamton Thrifty Shopper. It had been on my list for a while. The size and shape were ideal, the brassy finish was not. Not to worry! I pulled out my trusty ‘ol paint samples from Lowes and gave it a distressed white appearance.

I found this gem (below) for $12.99. You may recognize this from previous blog posts. It’s huge. I love it atop my dresser, and I can still take it outside for photos and blogging. No refinishing required. I really like the bronzed look.

Awe this handsome guy saw his reflection. He only barked once, ha ha!

This gorgeous little number (below) was just $3.99. It lives above the loo to reflect some light into this funny little toilet room off the master bedroom. I really love this ornate one, also kept as is. Seriously guys…$4!

And lastly, you can see another favorite of mine featured in one of my very first blog posts if you click here.
