I visited the Thrifty Shopper in North Syracuse for the 50% off sale recently and scored big! For less than $9, I found two amazing shirts and one blazer! Mixing these new thrift finds into my existing (mostly thrifted) wardrobe, here are a few styles I settled on.
My first item was a blue striped shirt with long bell sleeves from Nordstrom ($2.50). I would wear this shirt every day. The color is so versatile and I love the flow of the sleeves. I wore this with jeans and my new boots for a great date night outfit. Then, I matched it with a blue midi skirt and a pendant necklace for a fun ‘70s inspired look.
Next I found a mustard yellow blazer from Burlington ($3.50). This is my favorite color to wear lately and is very appropriate for autumn. I wore this first with my maroon pants and gray banana printed tank. Mustard yellow and maroon look great together. Then I wore the blazer with a nice professional looking black dress for a pop of color.
My last item was a reddish pink shirt with a slouchy neckline from Kohl’s ($2.50). I really like shirts that have this look – not quite as restricting as a turtleneck, but just as warm. I wore this with a pair of black pants for an easy outfit to throw on if I’m running late. Then I paired the top with a country-esque tan skirt for a really cute fall outfit.
